Today, I went to Good Day Cafe for my birthday with a group of 20 (it is my husbands favorite place for country fried steak so we made the 30 minute commute from Brown Deer)! Our server (I'm so sorry but I can't recall his name) and the rest of the wait staff were amazing. EVERYTHING came out AS ordered and all at the same time- crazy for a table of 20!! Nothing was missed. Literally amazing service followed by amazing food. They even split the check like 7 ways which made things so much easier. We will definitely be back again, of course!

Food was amazing! You can tell it’s homemade, fresh and hot!! Seasoned well! Never had to add salt or pepper. Large amount , you definitely got yours money worth, waitress was amazing kind and funny! Great customer service! Highly recommend it! You won’t regret it!!! 😊

Atmosphere is nice and unique. Food is always good made correctly. Servers are always on top of refills and clearing plates from your table.

First time here. Met someone for a light breakfast. It's a decent-looking place. There are plenty of spots to sit, including tables, booths, or a bar. There are some windows in the front that offer natural light, but I would have preferred more. A couple of TVs are mounted on the walls showing daytime TV programs (not a fan of those either). Got a booth by the front wall. We received our waters and placed orders for yogurt parfaits. The food came out in short order. There was a good amount of yogurt, fruit, granola, and a bit of honey drizzle. The presentation looked like someone was in a big hurry (maybe arrange the different parts together instead of piling everything on?) Our server was efficient but not especially friendly — not much of a greeting or a smile. Maybe they were having a bad day? Overall, I would rate the experience as "okay" — not nearly good enough to make me want to come back.

The staff was great. Food was mouth watering and big proportions. My wife loves eggs Benedict, and she said that these were made to perfection. I went with meat loaf and mash potatoes (recommend by the staff), and I must say that it was delicious. I have never had meat loaf with gravy on them, and these also had a bit of chilli powder added to them. My oldest had chicken Alfredo with broccoli, this is often her go to, so we have eaten this meal a lot. Wow, I'm sure you get a breast and a half of chicken, and the flavor that they packed into this meal was one of a kind. Even the garlic toast you get with it has jaw dropping and you don't want it to end.
