Last night, my wife, daughter, and I went to the Freighthouse to celebrate the start of our daughter’s sophomore year at UWL, and what could have simply been a nice dinner ended up being a really special evening. Mark W. greeted us with such genuine warmth and kindness, and the advice he took the time to share with our daughter for the year ahead was something we truly appreciated. Ryan took wonderful care of us all evening—he was attentive, made sure everything was just right, and convinced us to try the special filet, which was fantastic; we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. What really stood out was how sincerely happy Mark and Ryan that our daughter was experiencing the Freighthouse for the first time—they were genuinely glad our family had chosen to spend the evening there. We left feeling grateful not only for a delicious dinner, but for the kindness and personal touches from Mark and Ryan that made our daughter’s celebration even more memorable.
