Just moved to the area last year and selected Family Eye Care because of my insurance plan. Had my first appointment today. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. I received the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. Both Gracie and Dr. Alvarez were wonderful. Very pleased and happy I chose them.

The staff there are very kind. Our little guy was very wiggly and energetic, and another staff member came over to keep him occupied while I did some paperwork! So thoughtful! Dr. Alvarez is knowledgeable, professional, and kind to work with. She's great with kids. I highly recommend!

Last year, my exam with Dr. Jennifer was excellent. Her bedside manner is something that is often missing in healthcare today. She took the time to answer my questions and provide thorough patient education, and the exam itself went very well. I truly appreciated the level of care I received at this practice. The assistance I received while choosing lenses from the young man in the optical department was also wonderful. He was very kind, patient, and extremely helpful throughout the process. I do wish there were more lens options available, but I ultimately ended up happy with the pair I selected. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The only reason I will not be returning is because I have since moved far away from the area. Before leaving, I made sure to recommend the practice to friends, and they have also shared with me that they were just as pleased with the level of care they received during their visits with Dr. Jennifer. I just had an eye exam in my new area that didn’t go as well and reminded me of this place that I was grateful to find last year.

My daughter’s first eye exam. She was a little nervous but loved looking at all the options of frames. The doctor was so flexible when my daughter wanted to explore the instruments and even brought out the collections of prisms to show her. It was a fun experience and I’m sure she’s going to do great with her new glasses! Thank you for being so open and making the experience fun for her.
