Reading a few of the lower reviews on here has compelled me to write my own. I have stayed here many times over the last 2.5 years so feel in a position to provide a review with some depth and experience to it. I have stayed from one to three weeks at a time. The two main reasons I keep returning here are the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff are always accommodating to any requests. Julie the general manager is always wonderful to speak with and always takes an interest in how my day is. She works tirelessly to keep this place as good as it is. The head of housekeeping Freddy runs a tight ship and the rooms are always clean and tidy and I've only ever noticed light damage to things that are really difficult to renew (like small chips in the shower tray, or a control panel cover not quite fitting in place on the heater unit. But these are very very minor and totally acceptable and understandabke wear and tear. Breakfast is free and there is free coffee and tea available all day from flask that are replenished through the day. Honestly have to say that the hotel is the cleanest in the whole area. I tripped around a looked at a few before settling with this one. The entrance is very light and airy. Theres iced water available. The lift works fine and is clean and tidy. I use the stairs mostly which are also kept clean. The washer and dryer works fine. There is one washer that's been broken a long time but no problem because there are 2 or 3 laundry places only a short drive away. The pool area is always clean tidy and there's a water fountain in there. The gym is small but useable with a treadmill, bike, dumbells, medicine balls, weighing scales. There's a TV in there too. The pool is great and there's a hot tub right by it. Remember this is listed as a 2* hotel but it's better than most 3* round here. It is great value for money and a rest location just off the 41. Plenty shops and restaurants and bars around too and Menomonee falls is just a short drive away. Big thanks to all the staff - specially Julie, Freddy, Jermaine and the lady at breakfast who I don't know by name but shes always so lovely.
