I just finished the Chef's Signature Menu at Delaire Graff Restaurant presented by Chef Lyle. This is easily, and I mean easily the best Set Menu I've ever had. From flavours, to textures to plating. Every single dish was intentional and a rollercoaster experience. Highlights for me were the Lobster & Asparagus, the Wagyu and the Blue Cheese and White Chocolate Ganache Macaron . The service was 10/10 by Asive who was outlet waiter and was super attentive throughout the entire meal beginning to end and explained each dish with clarity and was open to any follow up questions. Also 10/10 was Jurgen who gave us a fantastic wine recommendation to pair with the food as well as a history behind the winery at Delaire Graff As it was my first time in Franschhoek and my last evening here, couldn't have had a better dinner. Best ever. Promote them all hahah Thank you!

An elegant, classy, and stunning entrance sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We were seated outdoors overlooking the vineyards, with beautiful views that made for a relaxing atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with attentive and professional staff throughout. Each dish was exquisitely plated and beautifully presented. The gnocchi was a little too rich, with perhaps too many competing elements. The lentil dish would have been more enjoyable served warm rather than cold. A thoughtful touch was the selection of complimentary treats at the end of the meal.

The location is what you pay for at this restaurant. The service was fast but almost to the point where we felt rushed, eventhough the restaurant wasn't full. The food played it very safe with the beef's "peperonata" sauce tasting like straight-up ketchup which made me feel like it was made for a 5 year olds palate and not worth the price. The lamb dish was pleasant but the plating muddled the flavors. The dessert was the best part of the meal, with a surprisingly delicious stout gelato element amongst the chocolate notes. Beautiful property and friendly staff but overpriced and unimaginative food.

One of the most beautiful panoramic restaurants on earth! The view on the Stellenbosch valley is breathtaking. The service is very attentive and polite both playful. When talking about the food you’d better order some veggie or beef but not seafood. As for the wines I prefer sparkling so the local MCC (Graff’s) is just incredible. *reservation is mandatory but if you’re in two you have a chance to enter and be seated. In any case there’s a spacious testing room nearby which operates without reservations.
