What a wonderful find! The food was fantastic, the coffee was spot on, but what really made the visit special was the kindness of the owner. I needed a couple of AA batteries and, with the nearest town being 16km away, she went completely out of her way to help me get some. That kind of genuine South African hospitality is something you really appreciate. Great food, great coffee and an absolute gem of a person behind it all. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area! 🇿🇦☕️

Offroad Routes and Tours

We took a slight detour from our route to stop at SIP Café, and it was absolutely worth it! Situated on a farm just off the road, SIP Café has a wonderful, authentic country atmosphere. It feels like a place that has grown naturally from its surroundings rather than being created simply as a tourist stop. We enjoyed excellent coffee, delicious sandwiches and, without a doubt, one of the most amazing cakes we have ever tasted. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and made with real care. As an off-road touring company, we are always looking for those special places along the route where our guests can experience something genuine and local. SIP Café is definitely one of those places. A wonderful find and well worth the detour. We will certainly be back!

Beautiful little jewel we have visited enroute to the Tankwa. Had breakfast there the morning and enjoyed the peace and quiet before hitting the road. The rock formation and beautiful trees was spectacular
