One of the best Ocean Basket restaurants I have ever been to. Amazing views and awesome atmosphere. Service was good both times we visited Ballito during a March holiday.

He is not just a manager, but a true team player who consistently goes above and beyond expectations to ensure every customer feels valued and well taken care of. Every time I visit the restaurant, he is always present and visible—moving from table to table, clearing, assisting, and supporting his team with a genuine smile. His hands-on approach, humility, and passion for customer satisfaction truly set him apart. He creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. What an outstanding gentleman—such excellence is rare and deserves to be celebrated. Not to forget the Host at the Door, who welcomed me with such a warm and genuine smile and ensured that I was comfortably seated and well attended to. Her friendly and professional approach made me feel appreciated and at ease from the very first moment, even while dining alone. Well done to this truly amazing and dedicated team. Absolutely friendly and Awesome Service from our Hostess Slindile. Food was superb. Wine Ice Cold. Beer to perfection. Manager friendly and very attentive. Compliments to the Chefs as well as the whole staff team. Thank you to all. 5 Star all around.

Very disappointed with food, service, cleanliness with this branch. We waited over 3 hrs for our food, drinks forgotten, had to keep asking for bread, water- my fish came with scales, rice cold - sent back - brought back to me cold again. Daughter was served her meal after family had completed eating meal. We asked for manager, we were ignored by some waiters, told managers too busy. The floors were unswept strewn with papers, tables dirty - staff were simply all over places and my waitress Nomwuniso said she was not coping it was too much and just shrugged her shoulders. Very disappointed as we have only had good service from all the Ocean Baskets we attend in jhb
