Excellent restaurant / racist shop Excellent restaurant and very welcoming staff who perfectly handled my food intolerances. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was great, but I think the tapas bar is even more pleasant in the summer, thanks to its location near the vineyards and facing the beach. However, the experience at the shop was mixed. We had just come from the beach, so we were in beachwear. We both have dark skin and are not French, even though we speak French. I felt this led to a misunderstanding about our appearance. We were greeted by one of the two managers, who were already busy with tastings and two groups of French tourists. We were offered a tour while we waited, but unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm outside. We had to insist several times to stay inside and wait a little longer, which wasn't a problem in itself. But a French couple who arrived after us, during our tasting, were treated quite differently. The same manager asked us to make room for them at the bar. Strange. The tasting included both dry and sweet wines. Since we were there to buy and don't particularly like sweet wines, we politely asked the woman to replace them with dry wines from their second cellar. She agreed, but added in an irritated tone that "we hadn't been able to taste them all." Yet, we had drunk the same number of glasses, simply different wines to allow us to make a proper purchase. Strange. Her attitude completely changed when she realized how many bottles we were buying (over €200). Feeling discriminated against, I urged my boyfriend not to buy any more. It's a real shame for the estate, as we've spent much more elsewhere. I'm sure not all the employees are like this woman, but it's truly regrettable.
